Raritäten-Parade zu Weihnachten.

Rare Aufnahmen, die nicht auf jeder x-beliebigen Weihnachtskollektion zu finden sind, stehen hier im Fokus. Wir können erneut eine Reihe von Songs präsentieren, die es bislang nicht auf CD gab. Zum Beispiel eine Novelty-Nummer von Dancer, Prancer & Nervous, The Singing Reindeer oder I Like A Sleighride von Peggy Lee. Großartige Frauenstimmen von Ella Fitzgerald, Judy Garland, Mahalia Jackson, The Fontane Sisters u.a. sind zu hören. R&B und Blues gibt es von Floyd Dixon, Nat ‚King‘ Cole und Sugar Chile Robinson auf die Ohren, und Weihnachtsklassiker von berühmten Größen wie Andy Williams, Dean Martin und Bobby Darin.

Auch gibt es einen Titel aus dem 1957er TV-Special von Frank Sinatra und Bing Crosby. Rex Griffin liefert Western Swing, Django Reinhardt bleibt die Gitarren-Ikone, während Ramsey Lewis Weihnachtliches auf dem Piano zaubert. Zur CD gibt es wieder Anmerkungen des Produzenten zu jedem einzelnen Song sowie Fotos und Illustrationen im 24-seitigen Booklet!
