Ein Sommer auf Langeoog

Ihren Vater Herbert hat Antonia Hofmaier vor rund 20 Jahren aus ihrem Leben gestrichen. Er hatte sie und ihre Mutter Elke für die deutlich jüngere Levke Binder verlassen und betreibt mit ihr seitdem einen Pferdetherapiehof auf Langeoog. Jetzt braucht Antonia allerdings seine Unterschrift und reist mit ihrem Sohn Linus auf die Insel. Doch Herbert erscheint nicht zum vereinbarten Notartermin: Er hat einen Segeltörn vorgezogen.

Antonia schäumt vor Wut. Widerwillig nimmt sie das Angebot von Herberts Freundin Levke an, auf ihrem Pferdehof zu übernachten. War sie nach Meinung doch schuld an der ganzen Misere. Doch der Aufenthalt verändert Antonia: Sie öffnet sich für den charmanten Hotelwirt Tjärk sowie für den nach einem Unfall stark traumatisierten Hengst Paco, den sie heilen möchte. Doch dann findet die Küstenwache Herberts leeres Segelboot.
