Freundinnen für´s Leben

Feelgood-Komödie mit der kraftvollen Musik von Blondie. Nach ihrem Studium beschlossen die besten Freundinnen Kate (Jenny Seagrove), Liz (Sally Phillips), Cassie (Kelly Preston) und Anna (Andrea Corr) per Interrail durch Europa zu fahren. Damals verpassten sie das spektakuläre „Festival of Light“ in der Kathedrale Santa Maria in Palma de Mallorca nur knapp. Sie schworen sich, diese Reise eines Tages zu wiederholen.

Als Anna stirbt, hinterlässt sie ihren besten Freundinnen Tickets für diese Reise – einzige Bedingung: Ihre 17-jährige Tochter Maddie (Elizabeth Dormer-Phillips) muss auch mitfahren. Die Uhr tickt: Nur fünf Tage bleibt dem ungleichen Quartett, um Palma zu erreichen. Verlorene Pässe, Zugstreiks oder romantische Avancen auf ihrer turbulenten Reise durch Italien, Frankreich und Spanien lassen die Zeit schnell schwinden. Schaffen es die Frauen, Anna ihren letzten Wunsch zu erfüllen?
