Joe Haider Trio „The Bill Evans Project“

Die Produktion soll eine Homage an den grossen amerikanischen Pianisten Bill Evans sein.

Alle Stücke die Bill Evans bei den legendären Village Vanguard Sessions gespielt hat, werden in seinem Geist und seiner Konzeption einstudiert und aufgeführt. Bereits haben mehrere Konzerte stattgefunden an denen rund 30 Stücke aufgeführt wurden. Es war jedes Mal von Neuem eine spannende Angelegenheit und das Publikum war stets begeistert!

Ursprünglich nur für den japanischen Markt vorgesehen, hat sich Pianist Joe Haider nun entschlossen, das Material auf seinem Label auch in Europa zu veröffentlichen. Die 12 Titel auf diesen beiden CDs sind eine Auswahl aus vier Konzerten in einem kleinen Club in Fribourg-Marly (Schweiz)!
