Kate Clover „The Apocalypse Dream“

The Apocalypse Dream ist das zweite Album von Kate Clover. Die von vielen also großer Geheim-Tipp im Punk-Underground gehandelt wird. Produziert wurde das Album von Jonah Falco (Fucked Up, Chubby and the Gang, The Chisel) und abgemischt von dem Grammy-prämierten Produzenten Carlos De La Garza (The Linda Lindas, Paramore). Klanglich inspiriert von 70er Jahre Punk, Power Pop und ein wenig The Kinks.

Textlich inspiriert durch den Beat-Poeten Charles Plymell. Es geht um Themen wie Selbstzerstörung, Politik, Liebe und den Wunsch, sich selbst in einer verrückt gewordenen Welt zu finden.
