Madsius Ovanda: hinter dem außergewöhnlichen Namen stecken die beiden Produzentinnen und Musikerinnen Carina Madsius und Pia Ovanda. Mit »Talking Underwater« haben die Wahl-Berlinerinnen ein Debütalbum kreiert, das mit ebenso außergewöhnlichen Sounds aufwartet. Dream-Pop trifft auf Indie-RnB. Psychedelische Sounds auf poppige Melodien.

Die Inspiration ihres kreativen Schaffens gründet zudem in der geteilten Begeisterung für klassische Msuik, Jazz und modernen Pop. Auch thematisch spannt das Album einen großen Boden. Madsius Ovanda begegnen fundamentalen Fragen und aktuellen gesellschaftlichen Diskursen mit ausdrucksstarken Stimmen.
