Die Villa des Wahnsinns

Irgendwann im 18. Jahrhundert beabsichtigt der Journalist LeBlanc über die psychiatrische Anstalt des Dr. Maillard zu berichten. Dort angekommen muss LeBlanc feststellen, dass die Zustände in seinem Irrenhaus höchst merkwürdig sind. Die Patienten scheinen völlig freie Hand zu haben und gehen ungehindert ihren Psychosen nach, arbeiten an seltsamen Apparaturen oder finden sich zu grotesken Gelagen ein.

Als LeBlanc klar wird, dass die Wahnsinnigen längst das Kommando in der Anstalt übernommen haben, ist er bereits ein Gefangener in der Villa des Schreckens.
