Der Kampf der Brüder

Eine Familie ungarischer Einwanderer will sich in Swanson City, einer kleinen Stadt unweit von Dodge City, in den Weiten der USA niederlassen. Sie kaufen für etwas Geld ein Stück fast unfruchtbares Land; doch auch als sie merken, dass man sie betrogen hat, versuchen sie, das Beste aus ihrer Lage zu machen.

Plötzlich jedoch versucht Mc Callum, der „King“ von Swanson, das Land aufzukaufen und die Leute zu verjagen. Doch diese kämpfen für ihr Land. Eines Tages, beim Graben eines Brunnens, verstehen alle Mc Callums Motivation: Öl!
