Havel, Novakov, Schmidt, Wiesinger „What Now my Love?“

Im Corona-Jahr 2020 entstand dieses großartige Projekt aus einer spontanen Studio-Jam-Session von vier österreichischen Jazz-Persönlichkeiten: Ein starkes Jazz-Orgelquartett, natürlich mit dem legendären “Wes Montgomery Quartet” im Hinterkopf, mit einigen der besten Musiker Wiens.

Die Clubs waren geschlossen, also warum sich nicht mal treffen im Studio des Schlagzeugers Dušan Novakov (Projekte u.a. mit Mark Murphy, Oliver Lake, George Cables, John Marshall, Dick Oatts, Don Menza, Kirk Lightsey, Michelle Hendricks, Toninio Horta, Dusko Gojkovic und Valery Ponomarev, Andi Bey, Brot Lealy, Karl Ratzer, Timna Brauer und Elias Meiri Ensemble, Fernando Correa, Fritz Pauer, Big Band Graz, Frank Lacy, Gregory Porter, Paul Zauner und Andy Middleton…) und einige Stücke aufnehmen!

Auf der soundbestimmenden Hammond-Orgel: Erwin Schmidt (Projekte u.a. mit Kevin Mahagoni, Ray Charles, Christian Havel, Elly Wright, Ingrid Maria Wagner, Carole Alston, Heinz von Hermann, Joris Dudli, Hans Salomon, Joschi Schneeberger, Walther Großrubatscher…).
