Manticora stehen seit inzwischen neun Alben für imposanten progressiven Power-Thrash-Metal. Die dänische Band um Ausnahmesänger Lars F. Larsen legt mit „To Live To Kill To Live“ den zweiten Teil der Vertonung seines 334-Seiten-Horror-Romans „To Kill To Live To Kill“ vor. „To Live To Kill To Live“ ist der Nachfolger von „To Kill To Live To Kill“ (also bitte nicht durcheinanderbringen) und enthält 63 Minuten absolute Metal-Präzision.

Seit fast einem Vierteljahrhundert präsentieren Manticora eine atemberaubende Gratwanderung aus Anspruch und Aggression, aus Progressivität und Hitgespür. 2020 zeigen sie sich kreativer denn je und präsentieren ein Gesamtkunstwerk-Konzept, das auch auf rein musikalischer Ebene beeindruckend funktioniert.
